Where to begin with this song... I made around 10 different versions of it because I loved the vocal so much. I knew I was going to use this song but the question was in what form. This version fit the album so perfectly. Its basically the opposite of "Where I Want To Be," and I felt that having them both as singles before the album would show the great diversity that the album actually has. This is a really dark, moody, skeletal vocal track. And just like "Where I Want To Be," there is a creative usage of guitar. I also love the idea of having a very loud, plucked, super reverbed piano as the lead sound in a song. On a side note - those weird chords that form the atmospheric first minute are just strings layered in a ton of effects.
